He tries to enhance young talents and professionals in the sector with "emerging" events (kitchen, dining room, hospitality, pastry shops…). Recently, he has been putting sustainability as a fundamental theme in his work. Paul has been involved in sustainability and conservation for over 25 years, working in and with many sectors including tourism, sustainable development and renewable energy. He is passionate about eco tourism and sustainable tourism especially with regards to protecting and enhancing the biodiversity within destinations and also working with SMEs to embrace the eco tourism agenda. Maria is an executive with almost 20 years of experience in Communications, Marketing and CSR. In the past 2 years she has been actively engaged in the field of Sustainability, with a focus on Tourism, Sports and Events, working as a consultant with the organisation Global Sustain. During this period, she has participated in various projects for ESG reporting and strategy, for companies in various sectors, including tourism. Francesca is an Italian nurse, with five years of working experience in the UK.She is currently working as a community and public health nurse on a NGO mobile clinic in Milan, promoting health in marginalised areas. Meanwhile, she collaborates with Turbolento Thinkbike SSD to promote global health and sustainability through cycling. This, while studying an MSc in Global Health to improve her knowledge and skill in this field. She now owns a consultancy firm that is basically focused on promoting sustainability in Uganda and guiding operators to operate sustainable businesses. Siobhán DALY is a passionate advocate for responsible tourism, She is based in Ireland and is currently undertaking an MSc. in Responsible Tourism Management. While currently working as an educational advisor, empowering educators to improve their educational practice, she is also a Community Based Tourism Trainer. Her true passion is tourism. Alphonce JUMA: He is a post-graduate with MBA and Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Tourism Management. He is passionate about environmental conservation and has participated in ecotourism program as participant and also taught sustainable tourism at university level. His areas of interest are how communities can be involved in environmental protection to curb the climate crisis which is so imminent. Gianluca ROSSONI has worked as a lawyer in tourism legislation since 2002 with academic experience too. He is a board member of IFTTA which collaborates with UNWTO in Co-operation and Access to Justice for International Tourists. She has been at EK for 3 years and 11 months now, and at the organization, she is also in charge of coordinating the onboarding process and sustainability group coaching for Kenyan tour operators within the Travelife sustainability certification program for tour operators. 🌱Mercy is also a Green Destinations Ambassador in Kenya and is a member of the Green Destinations Global Leaders Network. Recently, she was selected as a virtual volunteer Program Assistant Intern by the Fatma Al-Hifri Open University (FAOU).
