Who are the EU ECO-TANDEM Ambassadors?
The Ambassadors are tourism and/or sustainability experts who will support the project team in promoting the EU ECO-TANDEM Biz Programme. During the Biz Programme, for which applications will open in spring 2022, tourism SMEs and start-ups will have the opportunity to collaborate on innovative sustainable tourism ideas and win a €13,000 voucher.
What are the tasks of the Ambassadors?
The Ambassadors will contribute to promoting the events and activities of the EU ECO-TANDEM programme, in particular between January 2022 and May 2022, when it will be possible to apply for the Biz-Programme.

Each Ambassador will be selected for a period of one year, that can be renewed in case of interest.
Why should you become an Ambassador?
Ambassadors will benefit in terms of visibility and networking. As part of EU ECO-TANDEM, they will be able to get in touch with a wide network of European players in the field of sustainability, tourism and innovation. Furthermore, Ambassadors will be promoted through EU ECO-TANDEM social channels, newsletters and the project website.
And last but not least… the Ambassador most active on social media will be awarded the EU ECO-TANDEM Ambassador Prize. The prize will be presented during the award ceremony of the Biz Programme's winning companies, to be held in Brussels in early 2023.
How and when to apply
The first round of applications will close on 15 January 2022. Applications for the second round will open right after.
